DOMINGO TORRES, Defendant Below-Appellant, v. STATE OF DELAWARE, Plaintiff Below-Appellee. No. 319, 2002 In the Supreme Court of the State of Delaware. Submitted: July 24, 2002 Decided: August 22, 2002
Before VEASEY, Chief Justice, WALSH, and STEELE, Justices.
E. Norman Veasey, Chief Justice:
ORDER
This 22nd day of August 2002, after careful consideration of the appellant's opening brief, the State's motion to affirm, and the record below, we find it manifest that the judgment of the Superior Court should be affirmed on the basis of the Superior Court=s well-reasoned decision dated May 24, 2002. The Superior Court did not err in concluding that Torres' motion for postconviction relief, which was filed nine years after his convictions became final, was time-barred under Superior Court Criminal Rule 61(i)(1).
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that the judgment of the Superior Court is AFFIRMED.
