PRIMITIVO TORRES-MARTINEZ, Appellant, v. BRENDA M. TORRES, Appellee.

Appeal from the 73rd Judicial District Court of Bexar County, Texas (TC# 2024-CI-02056)

Before Alley, C.J., Palafox and Soto, JJ.

ORDER

PER CURIAM

Primitivo Torres-Martinez has filed a notice regarding the status of the record in this appeal. The notice advises the Court that court reporter Amy Lewis is currently on maternity leave until the end of November and is unavailable to complete the record which was due on October 30, 2024. The notice includes copies of emails between Appellant's counsel and Ms. Lewis.

The Court GRANTS a sua sponte extension and ORDERS the reporter's record in this appeal due on December 16, 2024. The Court considers this to be a first extension-any additional requests for extensions of time within which to file the reporter's record must be made in writing by Ms. Lewis and will be considered at the discretion of the Court.

Counsel is advised to consult directly with Ms. Lewis upon her return from maternity leave and to thereafter file another notice in this Court to confirm that financial arrangements have been made and to report on any additional issues that may cause a delay in filing the reporter's record by the December 16, 2024 deadline.

IT IS SO ORDERED.
