ORDER

On order of the Court, the application for leave to appeal the April 4, 2024 judgment of the Court of Appeals is considered. We direct the Clerk to schedule oral argument on the application. MCR 7.305(H)(1). The parties shall file supplemental briefs in accordance with MCR 7.312(E), addressing: (1) whether MCL 15.240(6) allows, mandates, or prohibits an award of attorney fees a plaintiff incurs (a) after the public records at issue have been produced, or (b) while litigating entitlement to attorney fees; and (2) whether the Court of Appeals correctly held that the trial court's attorney fee award was not an abuse of discretion because the appellant was largely responsible for prolonging the litigation.

Persons or groups interested in the determination of the issues presented in this case may move the Court for permission to file briefs amicus curiae.
