Tompkins v. Bellsouth

District Court of Appeal of Florida, First District
Sep 1, 2000
783 So. 2d 274 (Fla. Dist. Ct. App. 2000)

Opinion

No. 1D00-1591.

Opinion filed September 1, 2000.

An appeal from an order of the Judge of Compensation Claims; Paul T. Terlizzese, Judge.

Linda Tompkins, pro se, appellant.

Robert L. Teitler of Walton, Lantoff, Schroeder Carson, Miami, for appellees.

We dismiss this appeal because appellant failed to deposit the estimated costs of preparing the record as required by Florida Rule of Appellate Procedure 9.180(f), or to seek relief from those costs by filing a petition under rule 9.180(g)(3), despite being notified in writing by the Judge of Compensation Claims of the procedure to file such a petition.

WOLF, DAVIS and VAN NORTWICK, JJ., concur.
