GLADYS TITUS, Petitioner v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

David Gustafson Judge

This case is scheduled for trial at the Tax Court's Columbia, South Carolina, session beginning April 8, 2024. On February 16, 2024, the Commissioner filed a motion for continuance of trial (Doc. 12). The motion states that on January 17, 2024, the Commissioner received notification that this case has been assigned to an IRS Appeals Officer. The Commissioner has not succeeded in his attempt to reach petitioner and does not know whether petitioner objects to the granting of this motion. The Court's attempts to reach petitioner have not been successful. We see no reason that the motion should be denied, so it is

ORDERED that the motion for a continuance of trial is granted, that this case is restored to the general docket, and that this case will not be called for trial at the upcoming Columbia, South Carolina, session beginning April 8, 2024.
