Appellant's brief was due November 12, 2021. When it was not filed, we notified appellant by postcard dated November 17 and directed him to file his brief and a motion to extend time by November 29, 2021. To date, no brief or motion has been filed and we have had no communication from appellant regarding this appeal.

We ORDER appellant's brief filed by January 14, 2022. If no brief is filed by that date, the Court will abate this appeal for a hearing under rule 38.8(b)(3). See Tex. R. App. P. 38.8(b)(3).

We DIRECT the Clerk to send copies of this order to the Honorable Jennifer Edgeworth, Presiding Judge, 219th Judicial District Court; to Stephanie Hudson; and to John R. Rolater, Jr.
