Opinion

Case No. 4D99-2787.

Opinion filed June 28, 2000.

Appeal from the Circuit Court for the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit, Broward County; Ana Gardiner, Judge; L.T. Case No. 96-3666CF10A.

Richard L. Jorandby, Public Defender, Joseph R. Chloupek, Assistant Public Defender, West Palm Beach, and Cory Tilghman, South Bay, for appellant.

Robert A. Butterworth, Attorney General, Tallahassee, and Georgina Jimenez-Orosa, Assistant Attorney General, West Palm Beach, for appellee.

We affirm the conviction and sentence for violation of probation, there being ample evidence that a violation occurred when appellant committed a new offense of grand theft auto. We remand for purposes of having the trial court enter a written order revoking probation.

GUNTHER, STONE and POLEN, JJ., concur.
