No. 05-16-00117-CV

On Appeal from the 44th Judicial District Court Dallas County, Texas
Trial Court Cause No. DC-14-12712
MEMORANDUM OPINION
Before Chief Justice Wright, Justice Lang-Miers, and Justice Stoddart
Opinion by Justice Stoddart
In a letter dated March 18, 2016, the Court requested jurisdictional briefing in this appeal because it did not appear that the order appealed, the November 6, 2016 "Interlocutory Default Judgment," was an appealable order. We cautioned appellants that failure to demonstrate the existence of the Court's jurisdiction would result in dismissal of the appeal without further notice. To date, appellants have not responded. Based on the failure to respond to our request for jurisdictional briefing, we dismiss the appeal for want of prosecution. TEX. R. APP. P. 42.3(b), (c) (appellate court may dismiss appeal for want of prosecution or because the appellant has failed to comply with a notice of the clerk requiring a response).
