Thomas v. State

District Court of Appeal of Florida, Fourth District
May 31, 1989
543 So. 2d 469 (Fla. Dist. Ct. App. 1989)

Opinion

No. 88-3257.

May 31, 1989.

Appeal from the Circuit Court for Broward County; Stanton S. Kaplan, Judge.

Richard L. Jorandby, Public Defender, and Jeffrey L. Anderson, Asst. Public Defender, West Palm Beach, for appellant.

Robert A. Butterworth, Atty. Gen., Tallahassee, and William I. Munsey, Jr., Asst. Atty. Gen., Tampa, for appellee.

We affirm appellant's conviction and sentence in all respects. As to appellant's issue IV on appeal, that the judge erred in sentencing appellant without adequately acquainting himself with what transpired at trial, we affirm on the authority of Castor v. State, 351 So.2d 375 (Fla. 1st DCA 1977), aff'd, 365 So.2d 701 (Fla. 1978).

AFFIRMED.

ANSTEAD, GUNTHER and WARNER, JJ., concur.
