Dietrich Jordan Thomas v. The State of Texas

486th District Court of Harris County Trial court case numbers: 1637097

ORDER

AMPARO MONIQUE GUERRA, JUDGE

On January 2, 2024, attorney Clay S. Conrad filed a "Motion for Substitution of Counsel," stating that appellant, Dietrich Jordan Thomas "desire[d] to change his attorney." He therefore requested that his court-appointed counsel, Thomas Moran, be "be deleted from the files and docket sheet of this Court as attorney of record for [appellant," and that Clay S. Conrad "be substituted in lieu therein." See Tex. R. App. P. 6.5(d).

However, on January 10, 2024, attorney Conrad filed a "Withdrawal of Motion for Substitution of Counsel," stating that he "withdraws" the January 2, 2024 Motion for Substitution of Counsel. Accordingly, we deny as moot the January 2, 2024 Motion for Substitution of Counsel.

It is so ORDERED.
