On August 11, 2023, the Commissioner filed a status report indicating that he had mailed petitioner George Thomas an additional copy of the stipulation and notice of deficiency at issue in this case. We will give the parties a couple more weeks to work together towards settlement. Upon due consideration, it is
ORDERED that, on or before August 31, 2023, the parties shall file stipulation of settlement or a status report as to the then-present status of this case. At that time, the Court will determine if a conference call with the parties is necessary.
