The Conditional Guilty Plea for Consent Judgment and Stipulation to Entry of Agreed Order filed on August 20, 2024, are approved and Eric Satin is suspended from the practice of law for three years, nunc pro tunc from the date of his criminal plea on January 19, 2024. Respondent must fully comply with Rule Regulating The Florida Bar 3-5.1(h). Respondent must also fully comply with Rule Regulating The Florida Bar 3-6.1, if applicable.
Respondent is directed to undergo a comprehensive mental health evaluation facilitated by Florida Lawyers Assistance, Inc. prior to filing a petition for reinstatement, and shall obtain FLA, Inc.'s support in his reinstatement, including entering into a contract if recommended by FLA, Inc.
Respondent is further directed to comply with all other terms and conditions set forth in the report and consent judgment.
Judgment is entered for The Florida Bar, 651 East Jefferson Street, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-2300, for recovery of costs from Eric Satin in the amount of $1,250.00, for which sum let execution issue. These disciplinary costs are not dischargeable in any future proceedings, including, but not limited to, a petition for bankruptcy. Respondent will be delinquent and ineligible to practice law if Respondent does not satisfy the cost judgment within 30 days of this order, unless The Florida Bar Board of Governors defers payment.
