ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE

Appeal from an order of the Civil Court of the City of New York, Kings County, entered November 20, 2014. The order, insofar as appealed from as limited by the brief, denied the branch of appellant's cross motion seeking a protective order with respect to discovery sought by respondent. Respondent has stated in its brief that discovery has now been completed.

On the court's own motion, it is

ORDERED that the parties are directed to show cause before this court why the above-entitled appeal should or should not be dismissed as moot on the ground that discovery has been completed, by filing an affidavit or affirmation on that issue with the Clerk of this court on or before June 22, 2016; and it is further,

ORDERED that the Clerk of this court, or his designee, is directed to serve a copy of this order to show cause on the parties' attorneys by regular mail.
