TEXAS WORKFORCE COMMISSION AND CHAD MULLINS, Appellants v. OAK CREEK COUNTRY CLUB, INC., Appellee

On Appeal from the 196th Judicial District Court Hunt County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. 88325

ORDER

BONNIE LEE GOLDSTEIN, JUSTICE

Before the Court is appellant Texas Workforce Commission's November 16, 2023 motion for extension of time to file its brief. The Commission explains an extension is necessary because the clerk's record is incomplete. Specifically, the record is missing "the attachments and exhibits" to appellee/plaintiff's motion for summary judgment.

We GRANT the motion TO THE EXTENT that we ORDER Hunt County District Clerk Susan Spradling to file, no later than December 1, 2023, a supplemental clerk's record containing a copy of all attachments and exhibits to appellee/plaintiff's motion for summary judgment. If the documents cannot be located, Ms. Spradling shall state so in writing.

Because the record is incomplete, appellants' briefs are not yet due. The briefs will be due within thirty days of the filing of the supplemental clerk's record.

We DIRECT the Clerk of the Court to send a copy of this order to Ms. Spradling and the parties.
