A notice of appeal was filed on March 9, 2022 in cause number 05-22-00193-CR; three weeks later, a duplicate notice of appeal was filed and assigned to cause number 05-22-00267-CR. Each appeal stems from the same original cause and underlying trial. Therefore, on the Court's own motion, we CONSOLIDATE appellate cause number 05-22-00267-CR into appellate cause number 05-22-00193-CR. We DIRECT the Clerk to transfer the reporter's record in 05-22- 00267-CR into 05-22-00193-CR. For administrative purposes, appellate cause number 05-22-00267-CR shall be treated as a closed case.

Appellant's brief is due on July 25, 2022.

We DIRECT the Clerk to send copies of this order to the Honorable Nancy Kennedy, Presiding Judge, Criminal District Court No. 2; Mary Snider, official court reporter, Criminal District Court No. 2; Laura Weed, deputy court reporter, Criminal District Court No. 2; and counsel for the parties.
