ROY LEE TANNER, Appellant v. THE STATE OF TEXAS, Appellee

On Appeal from the 204th Judicial District Court Dallas County, Texas
Trial Court Cause No. F-1476344-Q

ORDER

Before us is appellant's July 13, 2016 motion for extension of time to (1) reply to an Anders brief, (2) submit an appellate brief, (3) request reappointment of counsel, and (4) request court records to reply to the Anders brief and submit an appellate brief. The relief sought by appellant is premised on his assertions that an Anders brief was filed in his appeal and his attorney of record was removed from the case. Neither of these assertions is correct. Appellant's counsel filed an appellate brief raising two issues on October 26, 2015. This Court issued its opinion on the merits of the appeal on June 20, 2016. Because no Anders brief was filed, the appeal was disposed of on the merits, and appellant's counsel was not removed from the case, we DENY appellant's motion for extension of time as moot.
