RUSSEL MARIE F. TAN & ESTATE OF ARIEL M. TAN, DECEASED, RUSSEL MARIE F. TAN, SPECIAL ADMINISTRATOR, Petitioners v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Mark V. Holmes, Judge

This case was on the March 4, 2024 Las Vegas, Nevada trial calendar. Petitioners did not appear, but respondent did and told us that Mr. Tan had recently passed away. Ms. Tan has now been appointed special administrator of her late husband's estate, but has not reestablished contact with respondent. The Court needs to know if she is interested in pursuing this case.

It is therefore

ORDERED that on or before October 18, 2024 petitioner file a status report (it can be in the form of a letter) stating whether she wishes to move forward with this case. If she doesn't respond, the Court would expect to invite respondent to move to dismiss the case for failure to prosecute.
