JAMIE L. TALLEY & MADISON B. TALLEY, Petitioners v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Kathleen Kerrigan Chief Judge

On June 3, 2022, the copy of the Court's Order served May 23, 2022, that was served on petitioner Jamie L. Talley was returned to the Court by the United States Postal Service. On June 10, 2022, the copy of the Court's Notice of Change of Address for Madison B. Talley served May 24, 2022, that was served on Mr. Talley was also returned to the Court by the USPS. The USPS label affixed to each of the foregoing mailings lists a new mailing address for Mr. Talley.

The foregoing considered, it is

ORDERED that the Clerk of the Court shall change petitioner Jamie L. Talley's mailing address in the Court's records to match the new mailing address for Mr. Talley listed on the above-referenced USPS labels attached to the returned mail filed by the Court on June 3, 2022, and June 10, 2022. It is further

ORDERED that, together with this Order, the Clerk of the Court shall serve on petitioner Jamie L. Talley copies of (1) the Court's Order served May 23, 2022, (2) the Notice of Change of Address for Madison B. Talley served May 24, 2022, and (3) Respondent's Response, filed June 27, 2022.

Petitioner Jamie L. Talley is informed that, pursuant to Rule 21(b)(4) of the Tax Court Rules of Practice and Procedure, a party to a Tax Court case must promptly notify the Court of any change in the party's mailing address or telephone number by filing a notice of change of address with the Court. A form for this purpose (Form 10) is available in Appendix I of the Tax Court Rules of Practice and Procedure and on the Court's website at www.ustaxcourt.gov/case_related_forms.html. Mr. Talley is further informed that, in the event he fails to notify the Court of a change in his mailing address, the fact that he does not receive notice of developments in this case may not excuse any failure by him to take actions necessary to protect his interests.
