NO. 2016 CW 1190

In Re: Sugar and Power International, LLC and Jorge Campos, applying for supervisory writs, 19th Judicial District Court, Parish of East Baton Rouge, No. 643966. BEFORE: WELCH, CRAIN AND HOLDRIDGE, JJ.
WRIT GRANTED WITH ORDER. The trial court's July 18, 2016 judgment granting Donavan Dupuis' exception raising the objection of no cause of action and dismissing all of Sugar & Power International, LLC and Jorge Campos's claims against defendant, Donavan Dupuis, is a final, appealable judgment. See La. Code Civ. P. art. 1915(A)(1); La. Code Civ. P. art. 2083. Therefore, the application of Sugar & Power International, LLC and Jorge Campos is granted for the limited purpose of remanding the matter to the trial court with instructions to grant applicant an appeal pursuant to the pleading that notified the trial court of the applicant's intention to seek writs. See In re Howard, 541 So.2d 195 (La. 1989) (per curiam). A copy of this Court's action is to be included in the appellate record.
