DIRECT APPEAL FROM THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES MVD DOCKET NO. 21-0004-LIC / SOAH DOCKET NO. 608-21-0988.LIC
Before Byrne, Chief Justice, Smith and Theofanis Justices
ORDER
PER CURIAM
Appellant Subaru of America, Inc. has filed an unopposed motion for leave to file a "combined reply brief" answering the separate response briefs filed by appellees. Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA) also requests to enlarge the word-count limit for its reply brief to 15,000- twice the amount allowed for a reply brief. See Tex. R. App. P. 9.4(i)(2)(C) (setting the length of a reply brief at 7,500 words). SOA recites that it seeks to increase the length of its reply brief because it is responding to both of appellees' briefs.
We grant the motion in part and direct that Subaru of America, Inc.'s reply brief be limited to a maximum of 10,000 words. We sua sponte grant Subaru of America, Inc. an extension of fifteen days from the date of this order in which to file its reply brief.
It is ordered.
