MICHAEL J. STRAUMIETIS, ET AL., Petitioner v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Mark V. Holmes, Judge

The lower numbered of these complex cases was on the January 25, 2021 Los Angeles, California trial calendar. We continued it to enable the parties to try to settle. We spoke with them today to discuss where those efforts stand, and learned that the parties do continue to trade offers. But these cases are the last on their calendar to either settle or be tried and we explained that if the parties do not settle within the next couple months it will likely be time to put them on a pretrial-order track. It is therefore

ORDERED that on or before July 30, 2024 the parties shall submit decision documents or file a status report to describe their progress. They should include their estimates of the expected length of trial.
