ORDER GRANTING PLAINTIFF'S MOTION TO FILE AMENDED COMPLAINT
(ECF No. 18)
Plaintiff Adam Jay Stone is proceeding pro se in this civil rights action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983. This action was filed on September 30, 2021. (ECF No. 1.) On October 27, 2021, the District Judge adopted findings and recommendations denying Plaintiff's application to proceed in forma pauperis. (ECF No. 11.) On December 17, 2021, Plaintiff paid the filing fee for this action. On December 27, 2021, Plaintiff filed a motion for leave to file an amended complaint to amend the prayer for relief. (ECF No. 18.) Given no Defendants have yet appeared in this action, the Court finds good cause to grant the Plaintiff's motion.
Accordingly, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that:
1. Plaintiff s motion for leave to file an amended complaint is GRANTED; and
2. Plaintiff shall file the first amended complaint within fourteen (14) days of service of this order.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
