FROM THE DISTRICT COURT OF TRAVIS COUNTY, 98TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT
NO. D-1-GN-15-002331 , HONORABLE DARLENE BYRNE, JUDGE PRESIDING

MEMORANDUM OPINION

PER CURIAM

The Department of Family and Protective Services has filed an unopposed motion to abate this appeal pending the outcome of cases pending before the Texas Supreme Court, including Mosley v. Texas Health & Human Servs. Comm'n, No. 17-0345. The Department represents that jurisdictional facts and issues in this appeal are similar to the jurisdictional facts and issues that are pending before the Texas Supreme Court in Mosley and other cases. We grant the motion and abate the appeal.

Further, we order the parties to file a status report on or before August 30, 2018. The failure to do so may result in this Court reinstating and then dismissing this appeal for want of prosecution. Before Chief Justice Rose, Justices Goodwin and Field Abated Filed: May 10, 2018
