Appellant's brief is overdue. Appellant's brief was originally due August 30, 2023. On September 6, 2023, this Court granted appellant's counsel's motion for extension of time to file the brief and ordered the brief filed by September 29, 2023. On November 8, 2023, we ordered counsel to file the brief by November 27, 2023. On November 29, 2023, we granted counsel's motion for extension of time to file the brief and ordered counsel to file the brief by December 27, 2023. As of the date of this order, appellant's brief has not been filed.

We ORDER appellant's counsel, Kristin R. Brown, to file appellant's brief and a motion for extension of time to file the brief on or before JANUARY 16, 2024. If appellant's brief and a motion for extension of time to file the brief are not filed by that date, this appeal may be abated for the trial court to make findings in accordance with Rule of Appellate Procedure 38.8. See TEX. R. APP. P. 38.8(b)(2).
