MEMORANDUM OPINION


The trial court imposed Hammond Steen's sentence on March 14, 2005. Because appellant did not file a motion for new trial, the notice of appeal was due to be filed April 13, 2005. Tex.R.App.P. 26.2(a)(1). A motion for extension of time to file the notice of appeal was due on April 28, 2005. Tex.R.App.P. 26.3. Appellant filed notice of appeal on May 16, 2005. Appellant did not file a motion for extension of time. On June 1, 2005, this court ordered appellant to show cause in writing why this appeal should not be dismissed for lack of jurisdiction. No response has been filed. Therefore, this appeal is dismissed for lack of jurisdiction.
