State v. Williams

Supreme Court of Louisiana
Aug 16, 1982
418 So. 2d 1351 (La. 1982)

Opinion

No. 82-K-2075.

August 16, 1982.

In re James Williams, applying for supervisory writs. Parish of Orleans. No. 281-095.

Granted for the limited purpose of transferring to the court of appeal; a revocation of probation conducted after July 1, 1982 does not "relate to" the conviction and sentence (imposed prior to the transfer date) itself.

DENNIS, J., concurs. This application does not attack or question a conviction or sentence rendered or imposed prior to July 1, 1982.
