IN THE MATTER OF THE APPLICATION OF STATE OF NEW YORK, PETITIONER-RESPONDENT, v. WILLIAM D., AN INMATE IN CUSTODY OF THE NEW YORK STATE DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS AND COMMUNITY SUPERVISION, FOR CIVIL MANAGEMENT PURSUANT TO ARTICLE 10 OF THE MENTAL HYGIENE LAW, RESPONDENT-APPELLANT.


PRESENT:

Appellant having moved for an extension of time to perfect the appeal taken herein from an order of the Supreme Court entered in the Office of the Clerk of the County of Jefferson on August 26, 2015,

Now, upon reading and filing the affirmation of Patrick T. Chamberlain, Esq., dated April 19, 2016, and the notice of motion with proof of service thereof, and due deliberation having been had thereon,

It is hereby ORDERED that the motion is granted, and appellant shall perfect the appeal on or before August 16, 2016, and, in the event of failure to so perfect, the appeal is hereby dismissed without further order.
