STATE OF LOUISIANA v. MARLON J. WELLS


In Re: Marlon J. Wells, applying for supervisory writs, 22nd Judicial District Court, Parish of St. Tammany, No. 513343. BEFORE: WHIPPLE, C.J., McCLENDON AND HIGGINBOTHAM, JJ.

WRIT DENIED IN PART AND GRANTED IN PART WITH ORDER. This matter is granted in part for the sole purpose of remanding to the district court for correction of the August 14, 2014, minute entry for compliance with the transcript of relator's habitual offender adjudication and sentencing hearing on that same date, and correction of the commitment order, if necessary. In all other respects, this writ is denied.
