STATE OF LOUISIANA v. DERRICK L. WASHINGTON

In Re: Derrick L. Washington, applying for supervisory writs, 19th Judicial District Court, Parish of East Baton Rouge, No. 10-15-0619. BEFORE: GUIDRX, DRAKE, AND H0LDRID6E, JJ.

WRIT DENIED AS MOOT. The record of the Clerk of Court of East Baton Rouge Parish reflects the district court is proceeding toward disposition of relator's Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus as it is set for hearing January 25, 2016. However, the record also reflects that relator has been billed for the charge at issue in his petition for a writ of habeas corpus. Therefore, a request for release under La. Code Crim. P. art. 701(B) is moot. See State v. Varmall, 539 So.2d 45 (La. 1989) (per curiam).
