Opinion

41 N.W.2d 560 (Iowa 1950) The STATE of Iowa, Appellee, v. Leon VINSON, alias Leon Vincent, Appellant. No. 47653. Supreme Court of Iowa. March 7, 1950

Appeal from Boone District Court; Sherwood A. Clock, Judge.

George D. Sullivan, of Des Moines, for appellant.

Robert L. Larson, Attorney General of Iowa, Don Hise, Asst. Atty. Gen., of Des Moines, for appellee.

       PER CURIAM.

This case comes to us upon a clerk's transcript. The defendant pleaded not guilty to an indictment charging him with the crime of manslaughter. Upon trial to a jury he was found guilty as charged and the court entered judgment thereon that defendant be committed to the State Penitentiary for Men at Ft. Madison, Iowa, to be there imprisoned for a period not to exceed eight years as provided by section 690.10 of the Code of Iowa, I.C.A. Defendant has appealed. We find no error and the judgment is therefore affirmed.

       Affirmed.
