ORDER

In the case underlying this appeal, the trial court granted the defendant's motion to set aside the information for failure to afford the defendant his right to a speedy trial. See TEX. CODE CRIM. PROC. ANN. art. 44.01(a)(1) (West 2016). The State timely filed a notice of appeal and moved this court to stay the underlying proceedings pending disposition of this appeal. See id. art. 44.01(e).

The State's motion is GRANTED. See id. art. 44.01(e) ("The [S]tate is entitled to a stay in the proceedings pending the disposition of an appeal under Subsection (a) or (b) of this article."). We ORDER the trial court to STAY the proceedings in the underlying case pending disposition of this appeal or further order of this court. See id.
