APPEAL FROM THE FAMILY COURT OF THE SECOND CIRCUIT (FC-Cr. No. 01-1-0605(3))

On the briefs:

Jon N. Ikenaga, Deputy Public Defender, State of Hawai`i, for defendant-appellant.

Arleen Y. Watanabe, Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, City and County of Honolulu, for plaintiff-appellee.

SUMMARY DISPOSITION ORDER

Defendant-Appellant Robert Street (Street) appeals from the Judgment entered on December 3, 2001 by the Family Court of the Second Circuit (the family court), Judge Anthony L. Ranken presiding, convicting Street of Violation of an Order for Protection, in violation of Hawai`i Revised Statutes § 586-11 (Supp. 2002).

The sole argument raised by Street is that there was no substantial evidence adduced at trial that he intentionally or knowingly violated the Order for Protection that prohibited him from being or passing within fifty (50) feet of his ex-wife and their children. Based on our review of the record on appeal, we disagree.

Accordingly, we affirm the judgment of the family court.
