Substitute information charging the defendant with the crimes of attempted assault in the second degree, attempted assault of an employee of the department of correction and rioting at a correctional institution, brought to the Superior Court in the judicial district of Fairfield and tried to the jury before Gormley, J.; verdict and judgment of guilty of rioting at a correctional institution, from which the defendant appealed to this court. Affirmed.

Dante R. Gallucci, special public defender, filed a brief for the appellant (defendant).

Frederick W. Fawcett, assistant state's attorney, filed a brief for the appellee (state).
