STATE OF LOUISIANA v. JAMES ROGERS


In Re: James Rogers, applying for supervisory writs, 18th Judicial District Court, Parish of Pointe Coupee, No. 77113. BEFORE: GUIDRY, THERIOT, AND PENZATO, JJ.

WRIT DENIED ON THE SHOWING MADE. This court cannot review the claims raised in the writ application. Relator failed to include the guilty plea transcript, the motions to appoint sanity commission, the district court's ruling on the motion to appoint a sanity commission, transcripts from any hearing on the motion to appoint sanity commission, the evaluations prepared by the psychologists, pertinent district court minutes, the uniform commitment order, and any other portion of the district court record that might support the claims raised in the application for postconviction relief. Supplementation of this writ application and/or an application for rehearing will not be considered. See Uniform Rules of Louisiana Courts of Appeal, Rules 2-18.7 & 4-9. In the event relator elects to file a new application with this court, the application shall be filed on or before February 19, 2019. Any future filing on this issue should include the entire contents of this application, the missing items noted above, and a copy of this ruling.
