Substitute information charging the defendant with two counts of the crime of assault in the first degree and with the crimes of attempt to commit murder, carrying a pistol without a permit and having a weapon in a motor vehicle, brought to the Superior Court in the judicial district of Fairfield and tried to the jury before S. Freedman, J.; verdict and judgment of guilty of assault in the first degree, carrying a pistol without a permit and having a weapon in a motor vehicle, from which the defendant appealed to this court. Affirmed.
