STATE OF LOUISIANA v. MICHAEL RAVY

In Re: Michael Ravy, applying for supervisory writs, 20th Judicial District Court, Parish of West Feliciana, No. 87-2-157-B. BEFORE: PETTIGREW, HIGGINBOTHAM, AND CRAIN, JJ.

WRIT DENIED. The holdings in Trevino v. Thaler, ___ U.S. ___, 133 S.Ct. 1911, 185 L.Ed.2d 1044 (2013), and Martinez v. Ryan, ___ U.S. ___, 132 S.Ct. 1309, 182 L.Ed.2d 212 (2012), do not create any right enforceable in state criminal postconviction proceedings. Accordingly, the district court did not err in denying relator's latest application for postconviction relief. See La. Code Crim. P. art. 930.8A; State v. Deloch, 2013-1975 (La. 5/16/14), 140 So.3d 1167. See also La. Code Crim. P. art. 930.4.
