For the reasons stated in the companion case of State of Louisiana v. Michael Wayne Pickering, 432 So.2d 1067 (La.App. 3rd Cir. 1983) (Docket No. CR82-648), the conviction and sentence imposed upon the defendant by the trial court are affirmed.

AFFIRMED.
