Information charging the defendant with the crimes of assault in the first degree, assault of an employee of the department of correction, attempted escape in the first degree, rioting at a correctional institution and conspiracy to commit both assault in the first degree and escape in the first degree, brought to the Superior Court in the judicial district of Fairfield and tried to the jury before Ford, J.; the state nollied the charges of assault in the first degree and assault of an employee of the department of correction; verdict and judgment of guilty of rioting at a correctional institution, from which the defendant appealed to this court. Affirmed.
