MEMORANDUM OPINION

PER CURIAM

MOTION TO DISMISS GRANTED; APPEAL DISMISSED

On April 25, 2022, the State filed a notice of appeal seeking to appeal the trial court's order granting appellee Ryan Scott Merendino's motion to quash an indictment. On August 8, 2022, the State filed a motion to dismiss the appeal, stating it is in the best interest of justice for the case to be dismissed. The motion complies with Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 42.2(a), and we have not yet issued a decision in this appeal. See Tex. R. App. P. 42.2(a). Accordingly, we grant the State's motion and dismiss this appeal. See id.
