STATE of Iowa, Plaintiff–Appellee, v. Gerald McNEAL, Defendant–Appellant.

Appeal from the Iowa District Court for Pottawattamie County, Mark J. Eveloff, Judge. A defendant contends (1) his attorney was ineffective in failing to seek suppression of his confession and (2) the district court used an incorrect standard in ruling on his motion for new trial.
