STATE OF LOUISIANA v. DEDRICK MATTHEWS


In Re: Dedrick Matthews, applying for supervisory writs, 19th Judicial District Court, Parish of East Baton Rouge, No. 04-14-0587. BEFORE: GUIDRY, PETTIGREW, AND CRAIN, JJ.

WRIT DENIED. Relator has been convicted and sentenced for several felony offenses, and the district court denied his motion for new trial and motion for post-verdict judgment of acquittal. The proper method for relator to seek review of these rulings is by appeal. See La. Code Crim. P. arts. 821(D), 912, 912.1(B)(1) & 914.
