State v. Hopkins

Supreme Court of Louisiana
Mar 6, 1975
309 So. 2d 337 (La. 1975)

Opinion

No. 55972.

March 6, 1975.

In re: Jimmy Dale Hopkins, et al applying for Supervisory Writs.

Writ denied. Relator has an adequate remedy by appeal in the event of conviction. Because of the absence of a clear showing of error and the time element, the court does not rule on the matter at this time.

SUMMERS, J., concurs in the denial. There is no showing that a fair cross-section of the population has not been included in the general venire and there is no showing of deliberate discrimination.
