Opinion
NO. 2017 KW 0193
04-03-2017
In Re: Albert Grayer, applying for supervisory writs, 21st Judicial District Court, Parish of St. Helena, Nos. 17845; 18988; 19099; & 19117. BEFORE: WHIPPLE, C.J., GUIDRY AND McCLENDON, JJ.
WRIT DENIED. The claims presented by relator in this writ application are repetitive. See the actions of this Court in 2015 KW 1238, 2014 KW 1206 and 2013 KW 1143, wherein this Court denied relator's prior writ applications seeking review of the denial of similar claims. Relator's contention regarding the validity of the burglary victim's address may not be raised in a motion to correct an illegal sentence as this allegation does not point to an illegal term in the sentences. See State v. Gedric, 99-1213 (La. App. 1st Cir. 6/3/99), 741 So.2d 849, 851-52 (per curiam), writ denied, 99-1830 (La. 11/5/99), 751 So.2d 239. Furthermore, because relator pled guilty, any claim regarding the sufficiency of the State's case against him is waived. See State v. Crosby, 338 So.2d 584, 591 (La. 1976).
