STATE OF LOUISIANA v. JUSTIN D. GRANIER


In Re: State of Louisiana, applying for supervisory writs, 23rd Judicial District Court, Parish of Ascension, No. 14,222. BEFORE: PETTIGREW, HIGGINBOTHAM, AND GRAIN, JJ.

WRIT NOT CONSIDERED. The State of Louisiana failed to comply with Uniform Rules of Louisiana Courts of Appeal, Rule 4-5(A), by failing to include an affidavit verifying the allegations of the petition. The state also failed to include the telephone numbers of the respondent judge and opposing counsel. The state also failed to comply with Rule 4-5(C)(10), as it failed to include a copy of all pertinent court minutes. Supplementation of this writ application and/or an application for rehearing will not be considered. See Uniform Rules of Louisiana Courts of Appeal, Rules 2-18.7 & 4-9. In the event relator elects to file a new application with this Court, the application must be filed on or before September 25, 2015. Any future filing on this issue should include the entire contents of this application, the missing items noted above, and a copy of this ruling.
