IN THE MATTER OF THE APPLICATION OF STATE OF NEW YORK, PETITIONER-RESPONDENT, v. EDWARD T., AN INMATE IN THE CUSTODY OF THE NEW YORK STATE DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS AND COMMUNITY SUPERVISION, FOR CIVIL MANAGEMENT PURSUANT TO MENTAL HYGIENE LAW ARTICLE 10, RESPONDENT-APPELLANT.


PRESENT:

Appellant having moved for leave to renew or reargue a prior motion insofar as it sought permission to proceed anonymously on the appeal taken herein from an order of Supreme Court entered in the Office of the Clerk of the County of Steuben on November 3, 2016, which was denied by this Court's order entered February 6, 2017, and, in the alternative, having moved for detailed findings of fact, pursuant to CPLR 2219 (a) and 4213 (b), regarding this Court's denial of said relief and for other relief,

Now, upon reading and filing the affirmation of Lisa L. Paine, Esq., dated April 4, 2017, and the notice of motion with proof of service thereof, and due deliberation having been had thereon,

It is hereby ORDERED that the motion insofar as it seeks leave to renew is granted, and appellant may proceed anonymously on this appeal, and

It is further ORDERED that the motion is otherwise denied.
