1. Appeal and Error.

Where no steps in prosecution of appeal had been taken for more than a year after filing certified copy of notice of appeal in Supreme Court, appeal would be deemed abandoned and judgment affirmed.

Appeal from Circuit Court, Beadle County; Hon. B.B. McClaskey, Judge.

Proceeding by the State of South Dakota against Hazel Crawford. From the judgment rendered, the defendant appeals.

Judgment affirmed.

This is an appeal from a judgment entered on April 9, 1952. A certified copy of notice of appeal was filed in this court May 5, 1952. Since that time no steps in the prosecution of the appeal have been taken in this court. The appeal is deemed abandoned and the judgment appealed from is affirmed.

All the Judges concur.
