Memo
This memorandum is to advise all companies responsible for publishing opinions from the Second Circuit Court of Appeal, State of Louisiana, that the attached opinion, Nos. 45,320-KA, 45,321-KA, 45,322-KA, State of Louisiana v. Jason Cooper and Victor Mitchell, replaces the previous opinion rendered on June 30, 2010, in its entirety, with the following corrections.
On page 5, line 14 : The word "to" has been inserted between the words friends and go. The bulleted sentence should and now does read:
later that night, Mitchell arrived, wanting her and her friends to go out to eat with him.On page 15, line 23 : The word "to" has been inserted between the words intended and introduce. The sentence should and now does read:
Thus, this also put the defense on notice that these witnesses would be called, and that in intended to introduce the statement made by Cooper that, "what happens in the car, stays in the car."
These corrections do not in any manner change the substance of the opinion.
