STATE OF LOUISIANA v. MARLON CARTER


In Re: Marlon Carter, applying for supervisory writs, 19th Judicial District Court, Parish of East Baton Rouge, Nos. 04-15-0006 & 08-14-0830. BEFORE: McDONALD, McCLENDON, AND THERIOT, JJ.

WRIT GRANTED. The trial court is instructed to proceed toward disposition of relator's writs of habeas corpus and motion for speedy trial relief, filed April 1, 2015, June 30, 2015, July 1, 2015, and July 13, 2015, in case number 04-15-0006, if it has not already done so. The court is further instructed to proceed toward disposition of relator's motions for release under La. Code Crim. P. art. 701, motions to quash, and motions for speedy trial filed on or about January 5, 2015 and January 12, 2015, in case number 08-14-0830, if it has not already done so.
