STATE OF LOUISIANA v. JAMES R. AINSWORTH


In Re: James R. Ainsworth, applying for supervisory writs, 22nd Judicial District Court, Parish of Washington, No. 14 CR 9124266. BEFORE: McDONALD, McCLENDON, AND THERIOT, JJ.

WRIT DENIED AS MOOT. The record of the Clerk of Court of Washington Parish reflects that the "Motion to Quash and Immediate Release" was withdrawn by relator's counsel of record in open court on February 11, 2015, where relator was present. Further, the clerk of court has no record of a "Motion for Preliminary Examination, pursuant to: Arts: 292, 293, 294(A), and 296 C. Cr. P. Louisiana.," or "Motion for Notice/Statues" which were attached to but not discussed in relator's writ application.
