ORDER FOR PRETRIAL MEDICAL EXAMINATION


Based on Motion of defendant and Stipulation of plaintiff United States of America,

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the defendant, DOUGLAS REX YOUNG, be committed for a reasonable period of time to the custody of the United States Attorney General, United States Bureau of Prisons, for placement in a suitable facility to conduct pretrial medical examinations to determine the defendant's medical condition, life expectancy, and his physical capacity to endure long-term incarceration.

The Court orders that a report of findings and conclusions be written and submitted to the Court.

The Court orders that the defendant be remanded to the custody of the United States Marshall to stand trial in the above-numbered case upon completion of medical examinations.

The Court orders that the United States Attorney pay any costs associated with the completion of medical examinations and reports.

The Court orders that all delays resulting from these medical examinations and any related proceedings shall be excluded in computing the time within which the trial must commence in the above-numbered case according to the provisions of 18 U.S.C. § 3161 (h)(1)(A).
